Why "FAITH wins"?

When The Lord began asking me to start a blog, honestly, I turned the other cheek. I attempted to argue with Him. I would say, “but God there are so many blogs already, or God I don’t want anything to promote myself I just want you to be glorified.” I had so many different arguments, but if you have ever tried this with God, then you know you never win. It kept coming to my mind, friends starting bringing up the idea, and I had several moments of knowing this is something our Heavenly Father wanted from me. He asked me again, “Caroline, are you willing?” This is a question He asked me in Africa. It is also one of my recent posts, so go check it out! Are you willing to die to yourself and allow my Spirit to infiltrate your being and write posts I want people to hear? It’s not about you, it’s about me and people knowing me more. So of course, I laid down my little life again and said Yes Lord I will!

Then, I started praying about a blog name. My dad came up with this acronym a while ago, and it is something that has stuck with my family. FAITH stands for fearless always in trusting Him. I want to live a life of fearlessness because His perfect love casts out fear.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
— 1 John 4:18

Love and fear cannot coincide.  I want to live this life ALWAYS! I will forever trust Him. No matter what He asks of me or where He calls me, I want to be able to have my arms wide open saying Yes Lord! I want to empty myself daily and allow Him to fill my entire being. He is a faithful God.

So, you may ask why FAITH Wins? Well, faith always wins.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
— Hebrews 11:1

If you continue reading all of Hebrews 11, then it will show you different testimonies from the old testament where faith won. I HIGHLY recommend reading this chapter. When rereading it, I noticed a common theme with all of those commended for their faith; it was not an easy journey. God picked them up, moved them from their comforts of home and asked them to trust Him. Having faith looks like trusting God in whatever He is asking of you. Faith means saying yes when you do not have all of the answers. It means loving Him through each and every storm. It looks like having joy in trials knowing that there IS light at the end of the tunnel. It means to remember the promises He has spoken over your life. Right now, He has asked me to write a blog, so I am trusting in Him and just saying yes Lord. He is faithful! I have no idea where this blog will go or what all I will write about, but I know one thing – I have faith that He has a purpose and a plan!
