Are you hungry for more?

I don’t know about you, but I am SO hungry for more of God. I want more of His love, more of His kindness, more of His glory, more of His presence and more of His grace. No matter how deep we go with God, there is always more. We will never “arrive” or know all of God while we are still in our Earthly bodies. Therefore, you should know that whether you gave your life to Jesus yesterday or you have been loving Him for the past 50 years you can go deeper still.
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
We are being transformed into His image. You may have heard the saying from glory to glory. Well, this means that you and I are both on this journey of being transformed into the image of our Heavenly Father. When we first believe and give our life to Jesus, we are babies and need spiritual milk, BUT we are not called to forever drink milk. For example, when a baby is born in this world, he or she needs milk for the first few years of their life. Once the baby gets to a certain age, they now need solid food. They cannot live off of milk for the rest of their life. This is just like our walk with Christ. We are called to move out of our comfort zones and explore the depths of Christ.
“So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely, we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.””
I want to move further! I want to explore the depths of our Heavenly Father. I want to worship and praise Him all of the time. I want to dive into His word and understand His teachings. I want to see miracles and wonders. I want to pray for those He puts in front of me. I want to live a life worthy of Jesus Christ! He is so worthy! So today, I feel like our Heavenly Father wants me to pray for you. Also, I am going to leave you a song at the bottom of this page, which is one of my favorites. Father, set a fire in our hearts!
Father, I pray for the special son or daughter who is reading this post. You know them by name and you know exactly where they are with you. I pray you instill a hunger and fire inside of them that craves more of you. I pray that they experience your extravagant love. He wants you to know that He is tapping on your heart inviting you to experience Him in an even deeper way than ever before. Father, I ask for them to encounter your living son, Jesus Christ. He is alive, and He is alive in each and every one of us! I pray your Spirit fills wherever they are reading this. Light up a fire inside of them God! Fill them with your Holy Spirit. I thank you that they are craving more of you. You are faithful and never-ending. I LOVE YOU JESUS! Amen.
